Michał Ociepka - Katedra Kognitywistyki

dr Michał Ociepka

Dr. Michał Ociepka studies the cognitive and neurophysiological mechanisms underlying fluid intelligence and higher-order cognitive functions, with a particular focus on the neural basis of reasoning and working memory. His research combines behavioral experimentation, psychometric assessment, and advanced neuroimaging techniques, including electroencephalography (EEG), functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS), and transcranial brain stimulation (tACS). He holds an MSc in computer science and a PhD in psychology, and his doctoral dissertation devoted to the neural correlates of fluid intelligence. In his work, he employs computational modeling, machine learning, and advanced signal analysis methods to better understand the dynamics of human cognition. He also involved in developing new research methodologies and analytical tools for cognitive neuroscience.
