Melike Çağlayan

Dr. Melike Çağlayan is a multidisciplinary academic and researcher with expertise in bioinformatics, cognitive science, and human-robot interaction. She holds advanced degrees in chemistry, polymer science, computer education, and health informatics. With a diverse background spanning academia and industry, Dr. Çağlayan has contributed to fields such as computational materials science, statistical analysis, and spectroscopic characterization.

Currently, she serves as an Assistant Professor at Jagiellonian University, where she leads research initiatives involving EEG, fNIRS, eye tracking into human behavior and interaction. She is also a Technical Researcher at URAP (University Ranking by Academic Performance), focusing on research evaluation through bibliometric methods. Her academic and industry experience includes roles in laboratory supervision, R&D, user experience analysis, and intellectual property management.
