Prof. Błażej Skrzypulec conducts research in the philosophy of mind and perception. In particular, he is interested in the structural aspects of sensory experiences, especially non-visual and multimodal experiences. Within this area, he has investigated, inter alia, the ways in which diachronic sameness is represented in vision and audition, the perception of silence, the spatial characteristics of bodily representations, the spatial content of olfactory experiences, and the multimodal structure of taste perception. He is currently working on philosophical issues related to multisensory integration.
