Adam Chuderski - Katedra Kognitywistyki

prof. dr hab. Adam Chuderski

I graduated in computer science at University of Łódź (1999) and then received my PhD in psychology from Jagiellonian University in Kraków (2006). I study neurocognitive mechanisms of relational reasoning, problem solving, and working memory. I am also involved in research on cognitive/executive control and irrational beliefs. To track all these research questions I use behavioral experimentation, psychometric methods, formal modeling, eye-tracking, electroencephalography (EEG), and optical spectroscopy (fNIRS). I am also interested in the foundations of cognitive science, including biologically-plausible cognitive architectures and the emergentist theories of the human mind. Currently, I am a full professor at the Centre for Cognitive Science, Jagiellonian University. I am a member of the Cognitive Science Society, European Society for Cognitive Psychology, and International Society for Intelligence Research.
