The Cognitive Science Department consists of over ten specialists representing various disciplines comprising cognitive science: philosophy, computer science, psychology, and neuroscience. All of us share deep scientific curiosity regarding fundamental problems of human and artificial cognition and an interdisciplinary approach to research.

Cognitive Science Department coordinates BA and MA Programmes in Cognitive Science.

Our staff conducts research in seven research groups and laboratories.

The department was funded by Professor Jerzy Perzanowski (1943-2009).
