Multimodal Integration and Interaction Lab

The Multimodal Integration and Interaction Lab (MiiL) is a research facility at the Cognitive Science Department of Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. The lab was established in 2023 to conduct research on human cognition, behavior, and physiology through the innovative use of multimodal technologies. Our aim is to inspire and train the next generation of researchers, fostering a culture of intellectual curiosity and high scientific quality. We are committed to conducting rigorous, high-impact research by integrating multimodal systems, including eye trackers, prefrontal fNIRS (functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy) brain imaging equipment, NIRx NIRS devices, and physiological sensors. The multimodal interaction scenarios run on these systems provide valuable insights into the complex interplay between the human brain, body, and environment.
